My own process of creating Internet
presence.
Hi, my name is David Perez, and I'm the owner of
Daily Tech Info. Way back in 1995 I started to
learn about the Internet and it's workings. I
visited many sites and was astounded at the many
variations of website creations, there were good
sites and bad ones. I also noticed that people were
at some form or another making money selling any
item or service. So this got me into a whole new
world of technical creation. I downloaded a free web
page creator and started working on my first
webpage.
By
1996 after learning the ins and outs of creating a
webpage, uploading one, and renting server space
for the first time, I had a sense of creative
accomplishment except that the page was not as
vibrant as they are now a days. It looked plain with no
life at all. Just a title, an image of Earth and a
short paragraph. I stopped the creative process for
a while.
It's
1997 and I decided to start again. This time I came
up with a few pages and started a small business.
The site was
http://www.internationalspecialtygifts.com.
Don't click on it. It no longer exists. This
one stayed online for a while and I placed links and
classifieds around the Internet but had no luck, so
I decided to stop again.
It's 2002
and I started again, this time determined to stick
with it till the end. I created a site
http://www.dailytechinfo.com based on providing
information and items plus services. At the
beginning I felt something was missing so
again I stopped and started. I must say
that throughout these years I had a full time
job. So website learning was a part time and at most
a slow time progression.
It's
2006. I am still with the same site making a
few adjustments on images and looks. I have gotten
better in creating web pages. Still I'm wasn't
satisfied. I soon found an online
documentation advertising highly targeted traffic to
whatever website, so I checked it out, filled out a
form and to my surprise the site owner called me
offering advice and to take a look at his site. At
last after all these years someone from an online
business called and offered free advice. I
immediately got inspired especially after seeing his
site. It made me look at my site differently. From
this day on I have been working hard on this site
which is what you are seeing here. I am constantly
working on it on a day by day basis.
Out of all of this I have
learned that persistence at working hard and
learning all you can will at the end surface to what
you wanted or perhaps even better than you thought.
I thank this person that called me by phone for
inspiring me into creating what you are now watching:
